      Carbix Energy Monitor & Sensors

      The Carbix EM1-8G is an open-source energy monitor that tracks power, energy use, voltage and power factor across up to 15 circuits at five-second intervals. Its local web interface works without the cloud and supports InfluxDB, Emoncms and Grafana. Optional 200A split-core current sensors are sold separately for larger loads.

      Carbix NILM Algorithm

      Carbix NILM estimates individual appliance use from whole-home meter data. The work combines data preparation, model training and evaluation for appliances such as refrigerators, kettles and air conditioners, with denoising autoencoder experiments and a Transformer/BERT implementation available for further development.
